I believe this is a great bed and one of the only ones I could find that had the dimensions to fit in my dogs crate. As far as water proof the top of the bed seems great but if water hits the sides or bottom of the bed the bed will soak it up like a sponge which defeats the purpose of the top being waterproof. It is soft but firm at the same time. However with all that said my 4 month puppy chewed it up in less than a week I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re pup is a chewer however if they are not a chewer I would recommend this bed and may even purchase it later when she gets out of her puppy chewing phase

The photo shows the egg crate foam on the top where the dog makes contact with the mat and the flat foam on the bottom. I unzipped it and they were reversed. I didn’t see any reviewer finding the same oddity so I will just rack it up to assembly line error. Looks to be sturdy and comfy. We shall see.

We have 3 large dogs, and each one loves these beds! They’re well made, withstands one of our pups who digs before settling in. The waterproof cover is a lifesaver, especially for our 15-year-old who drools and occasionally has small accidents. Super easy to wipe clean, unzip, and toss in the wash as well as put back together after washing. The zipper holds up well, and the bed offers great support–our senior girl spends most of her day in it comfortably. After trying several beds over the years, these are hands down our go-to. Great quality and value. I highly recommend!

there is no 6 layered bed structure in the product as mentioned in the description, the product I received is cut out rectangular sponge piece hand stitched with a water proof fabric and a velvety bed cover.Please do not trust this product and waste your time and your pets time

One of my favorite dog beds for the price. I have two 50-60lb dogs and they can both snuggle up on one of these (even though they each have their own). They fit perfectly in a 42.0L x 28.0W x 30.0H kennel. I love that they have covers so I can take them off and wash them. The zippers have stood up to being taken on and off being washed. My one critique : I believe they say they are waterproof, but any accidents still soak into the pad from the soft side. If my dog is having issues, I will flip it over and put a blanket on top, so the pad doesn’t get nasty.
