It is a nice cushion and pretty durable. My puppy chewed at a seam and then the cushion within 3 days. I was sad to see that.

I had the old barkbox waterproof bed for about 2 years and the Arizona sun cooked it. Finally time to get a new bed and this one was a great price. I got the XL and my 100 lb shepherd loves it. He can plop down on it without sinking into it and has plenty of room to sprawl out too. I dont know if it will hold up for longer than 2 years but I think the price is fair if it lasts that long! Ill just buy another

These are not the squishiest beds in the world. Some dogs may prefer to have a blanket down on top. I also figure you can change the inside. It comes with a pretty sturdy memory foam type. One side is smooth and the other is bumpy. I thought I measured properly but they were slightly too wide, so we just used a knife to cut a section off. The outside looks great. Nice rich black, very easy to clean, can be vacuumed weekly and tossed in the wash (and dryer) every month or so. Comes out looking brand new. Didnt shrink. The zipper stays hidden under a flap so I dont worry that there is any hazard here for chewers. I like that this isnt super soft and fluffy because my dog loves to chew stuffed animals and blankets. He has not touched this. Its a nice almost quick dry fabric that seems to keep them nice and cool. They are a little thinner so I may trade out for a comfier inside one day, but I do like that they dont take up much room in the crates height wise.

We got this because we were tired of our cats urinating on the dog beds and needed something for our dog to lay on. It isn’t the comfiest dog bed ever, but that wasn’t the point. We also ended up figuring out an even better use for this bed. Our golden has separation anxiety and has chewed to pieces everything we’ve ever put in her kennel….except for this bed. I think its the texture that she doesn’t like to chew, rather than the overall sturdiness. She even chewed up a Kong brand bed that was supposed to be un-chewable. So if you need something your dog doesn’t like to chew, but need something for them to lay on in a kennel, try this!

I gave it a bit before writing this review. We have a giant breed dog (175lb Irish Wolfhound for reference) who needs some extra padding in a dog bed, and we have the problem of our smaller dog liking to pee on softfluffy beds, and our puppy phase dog likes to chew up fluffy beds. The challenge is finding a bed big enough that is waterproof provides enough loft. This bed is PERFECT! Our big boy loves it is so happy! (The other two dogs try to steal his bed, but he isnt sharing this one ) The cover wipes clean easily, but I have also taken it off washed it several times. It washes great fits back on perfectly. There was even one day where the kids didnt let the dogs out, I came home to a pool of pee all over the dogs area. When I took the cover off to wash, the insertfoam was completely dry untouched. Huge win! We own several dogs and have spent a fortune on various dog beds. The price point was amazing on this bed. I would highly recommend this bed to anyone! Actually, as Im writing this review, Im getting ready to order more of this same bed; one for our golden retriever, and one for our camper.

The outside material is nice and waterproof, but the inside foam is super weird and mildly difficult to get in. I do feel a lot better having it outside and knowing that it wont immediately die. My 45 lb dog loves it and has been sunbathing for the past couple days.
